The truck searches

We spent 1 year to serch firstly existing motorhomes build on 4WD trucks and then a truck appropriate to manufacture a motorhome that suit to 6 people !

    Motorhome manufactured a Renault S170 4WD We began our searches by second-hand motorhomes based on heavyload firetruck. Unfortunately, this one was build for 4 people and didn't suit to our needs.
    Former 4WD firetruck with road tires This was a build and certificated for 8 people but we could install a 4 m living cell maximum : too small for 6 people.
    Former Iveco Magirus 4WD firetruck with fixed cabin Possibility to install an alcove with a bed above the cabin and a smaller living cell but this truck was not enough pomwerfull and too noisy
    Former 4WD milk truck Renault C290 Possibility to install an alcove with a bed above the cabin and have a 5m long living cell but the cabin was too hign : more than 4 m with the alcove
    Former airport firetruck manufactured by Thomas based on a Renault G290 4WD truck He has a cute face ; isn't he ?
    He seduced us and we decided to welcome this new big baby in our family to drive us on road's world
    Our future motorhome A 4WD (13.5T) from 1988 with 56 000 Km without electronic : perfect to drive everywhere and install an almost 5m living cell : bodywork building can begin !
